You asked, and we listened! Finally, our Freakebana Flower-Painting workshop is here!
This one is especially close to our hearts, as we just love creating uniquely expressive floral moments that catch your eye and make you go, "Oh wow." Over 1.5-2 hours, we will guide you through some of the basics of Ikebana and how we pull from it when approaching making a Freakebana arrangement. You'll paint your own anthurium flower in whatever way you want, incorporating it with a variety of other stems that catch your eye to create a design that is completely unique to you. There are no rules here, only guidance and support, and our priorities will be self-expression, creative play, and a meditative focus on what makes each individual element of your design so beautiful. So come on, don't be shy, get freaky with us!
When:
January 20, Saturday, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Please note: This is a rain-or-shine event. Unless you receive an email or call from us, the workshop will be going ahead.
Cost:
$160.00 per person, per workshop. Gift cards, which can be purchased on our website, can be used towards all workshops.
All workshops are non-refundable. Please be advised that if, for any reason, you are unable to attend this workshop, your slot is transferrable (to another person) but is non-refundable. (We reserve the right to cancel the workshop and issue you a full refund if the minimum number of participants (5) is not met.)

If you plan on driving:
There is Green P parking along Queen Street and Richmond Street, and some private parking lots in the area (at King and Tecumseth), as well as limited free residential street parking. Please note we do NOT have a designated parking lot, and it may take some time to find a parking spot as we are near busy Queen West. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early if you are driving to avoid unnecessary stress!
What to bring/wear:
All materials needed for the workshop will be provided. Just come in ready to have fun!
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as you will be standing for the duration of the workshop.
