Say hello to the beautiful Philodendron Birkin! Their gorgeous variegated leaves make them a stand-out house plant. Ours is planted in a beautiful 5.25” x 4.75” aqua and grey ceramic planter.
---
This plant is particular about its light - too much light or too much shade can be damaging. Indirect, bright, sunlight is best, or using grow lights (for 12 hours a day - they need the dark too!).

These guys love humidity, so a humidifier, misting, or placing your plant on top of a tray of pebbles with water will make your plant very happy.

For watering, you want to wait until the soil is almost dry before watering again. A good way to gauge this is the finger test - if there's some soil on your finger when you check, you don't need to water just yet.

Fertilizing your plant once a week will do it wonders! If you plan on repotting, remember that the soil is very important to these plants! Please do some research before repotting.
---
The Fine Print: Remember each plant is a unique living thing and may have varying needs, especially in their individual locations. We encourage you to do some extra research on your new plant, and pay attention to their condition and watering needs and you will have a long and happy relationship.
